The Ales Way - Wharfedale's Ale Trail, a collection of some of the true greats in traditional Yorkshire Dales pubs, is promoted by the Upper Wharfedale Community Interest Company (UWCIC) in partnership with Wharfedale Brewery and the pubs it supplies, with support from the Yorkshire Dales National Park Sustainable Development Fund.
Wharfedale Brewery makes a donation to the UWCIC, a not for profit organisation which rasises money for good causes in Wharfedale, whenever a pint of their beer is bought from participating pubs.
The trail not only gives you the opportunity to savour the delights of traditional real ales along the way, but also to take in the wonderful sights and sounds of Wharfedale; making the trip an experience in its own right. Minibus available for hire
The UWCIC has joined forces with Pride Of The Dales and the Wharfedale Venturer (Mon-Sat), Dalesbus (Sundays) and the Wharfedale Packhorse (Saturday nights and available to hire) bus services to select pubs which, for the most part, are easily accessible by public transport, ensuring that any trip to a pub on The Ales Way is a fun and relaxing experience.
